Analysis of occlusion and jaw joint (TMD diagnostics)
We treat the cause, not just the symptoms.
An unstable or faulty bite – also known as a malocclusion – can have far-reaching effects on the entire jaw and neck area.
Often a malocclusion is behind it.
Common consequences are muscle tension, teeth grinding (bruxism), jaw joint pain as well as headaches or neck and throat pain.
The cause usually lies in an incorrectly loaded jaw position, in which the teeth of the upper and lower jaw do not meet harmoniously. This imbalance leads to overload in the chewing muscles and the jaw joint.
Our goal is to stabilise the bite in the long term, relieve the muscles and reduce your symptoms sustainably – gently, precisely and holistically.
