Clinical check, 3D X-ray, assessment of bone and general health. From this we develop an individual treatment plan.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic at our practice. We work gently and take time for a calm atmosphere.

Follow-up

Extractions
Removal of teeth that can no longer be preserved or are problematic — gently and under local anaesthetic.
Implantations
Replacement of a missing tooth root with an implant — the basis for a crown, bridge or implant-supported prosthesis.
Bone augmentation
Building up the jawbone when the bone volume is insufficient for an implant (e.g. sinus lift).
Soft-tissue surgery
Corrections of the gums — for example with recessions, exposed roots or frenulum issues.
Consultation
Implant consultation — transparent.

Frequent questions
What patients often ask.
During the procedure local anaesthetic ensures you don't feel pain. Afterwards some temporary discomfort can occur — we give you clear recommendations on what to do.
It depends on the procedure. A simple extraction often heals within a few days; an implant requires several weeks to months of integration. We discuss a realistic timeframe before treatment starts.
Basic Swiss insurance generally does not cover dental procedures. Supplementary insurance or accident benefits may contribute depending on the policy. You always receive a written cost estimate.
Oral surgical procedures are performed at our practice by a specialised practitioner. The planning, information and follow-up we discuss together with you.
