How does teeth whitening work?
In professional whitening, a brightening gel is applied to the teeth that dissolves discolouration out of the enamel. The result: brighter teeth in their own shape, with no loss of substance. What matters is that the treatment is dentally supervised — gentle on the enamel and with protected gums.
Power whitening with light — our method
We offer power whitening with light: an intensive brightening done directly at the practice. The highly concentrated gel is applied in a controlled way and activated with light — producing a visible result in a single appointment. The treatment takes around 60–90 minutes.
How the treatment works
- Preliminary examinationWe check whether your teeth and gums are suitable for whitening.
- Power whiteningControlled application and activation of the gel with light — the gums are protected.

What does teeth whitening in Zurich cost?
We work with clear fixed prices — you know in advance what to expect:
Whitening prices
A professional cleaning right before whitening leads to a more even result. The combo package includes both.
Is whitening harmful to the teeth?
With dentally supervised whitening, no enamel is removed — the teeth are brightened, not ground down. Enamel and gums are protected during the treatment. Healthy teeth and gums are a prerequisite, which we check during the preliminary examination.
How long does the result last?
This depends on diet and habits — coffee, tea, red wine and smoking cause teeth to darken again more quickly. With good care and occasional touch-ups, the result lasts a long time.
Does insurance cover whitening?
Teeth whitening is an aesthetic treatment and is generally not covered by insurance. In return, we work with transparent fixed prices and no hidden costs.
