Why aligner prices often seem unclear

One of the most common questions at the first consultation is: “What does it cost?” Understandably so — figures online range from a few hundred to well over ten thousand francs. The reason: not all aligners are the same. The price depends on how complex your individual situation is and which services are included.

What is included in the price

With us, the treatment price is an all-inclusive price. It covers the entire journey — not just the trays:

  • Diagnostics & 3D scan — digital impression, no unpleasant impression material
  • Treatment planning — digital simulation of your target result
  • All aligner trays for the entire treatment
  • Check-up appointments at the practice until completion
  • Fine corrections, if needed
  • Retainer to stabilise the result after treatment ends
Good to know

The retainer after treatment is not an “extra” — with us it is part of the package. Without stabilisation, teeth can shift back.

What influences the price

The final price depends on your individual situation. The most important factors:

  • Complexity of the misalignment — a minor correction of the front teeth is less expensive than a comprehensive bite correction
  • Treatment duration — and therefore the number of trays required
  • One or both jaws

Instalments — treatment from CHF 190/month

So that a correction doesn’t fail because of budget, we offer instalment payment. Treatment starts immediately, the costs are spread across monthly amounts — from CHF 190/month, depending on the scope of treatment.

Does health insurance cover anything?

For adults, orthodontic correction is generally considered not medically necessary — basic insurance usually does not cover it. Some supplementary insurance plans contribute a partial amount. For children and adolescents, orthodontic treatment may be covered in full or in part by disability insurance or health insurance under certain medical conditions. We assess your situation individually.

Our conclusion

A reliable aligner price can only be given after an examination — anything else would be unprofessional. What we do guarantee: a written cost estimate before treatment begins, with no hidden items. So you know exactly where you stand from the start.
